Superfoods are a special category of food that has very high levels of nutrients. Adding them to your diet can improve your health and support healthy aging and longevity. The term superfood is slightly overused now, but this list includes superfoods that are a little more unusual. You can add them to your smoothies, granola, salads, or even desserts. They are best eaten raw since cooking destroys many nutrients and enzymes. If you want more information about superfoods, I highly encourage you to get David Wolfe’s book on superfoods. He’s the master – love his work.
