This green tea, yogurt and berry smoothie is beautiful, refreshing and very nutritious. It really makes a lovely breakfast or a healthy snack. I used organic green tea, that I brewed and cooled down, and I added a banana, frozen berries, organic yogurt, ground flax seeds, ginger and spinach. It’s a very beautiful combination of flavors, and it’s packed with antioxidants, healthy fats and probiotics.
I occasionally consume dairy products and whenever I do, I do my best to get the best quality. In this smoothie, I used organic, plain, full fat Greek yogurt. If you are not vegan or intolerant to dairy products, Greek yogurt is actually a very healthy choice. It’s a great source of probiotics and healthy fats, and because it’s a full-fat product, not only it’s less processed because it’s in its whole form, but it’s also a healthier choice as it’s helpful to balance blood sugar and it helps you to make you feel longer. Try to get it plain to avoid added sugars, and make sure it’s organic as conventional dairy products aren’t the best way to go. If you like, you can read more about dairy products in my Learn section from the navigation menu. If you do not consume dairy products, it’s all good, just choose a healthy vegan alternative such as coconut yogurt.
I hope you enjoy this delicious smoothie. And if you have goji berries on hands, add a few to garnish! They are so pretty and healthy!
Hope you all have a great weekend! X
