This creamy and lovely smoothie has a very similar taste to nutella. It will really satisfy your sweet tooth. It may sound unhealthy but this smoothie is made with good quality ingredients and is actually very healthy. The smoothie is naturally sweeten with dates and banana so it’s very healthy.
Raw cacao is a superfood and is an excellent source of magnesium and antioxidants. I love to use raw cacao instead of regular cacao as the nutrient content is higher when it’s raw and it’s not as heavily processed. I used hazelnuts to give the lovely nutty flavor. Make sure they aren’t roasted or salted.
I added some chia seeds to make it creamier and to add even more nutrients. Chia seeds are an excellent source of proteins, fiber, and essential fatty acids. You won’t even see or taste them. They are similar to flax but very different.
This smoothie is raw and vegan, and makes a lovely snack or energizing breakfast smoothie.
