I love superfood smoothies! This one is a triple berry smoothie and is topped with more superfoods. It’s really a great way to start your morning. It’s made with fresh almond milk, banana, raw almond butter, chia seeds, maca, and goji berries, acai berry and camu camu. It’s a really great combination of healthy fats and antioxidants.
Have you ever try camu camu? It’s a small berry from the Amazon and it’s the highest known source of vitamin C. Camu camu helps to boost immunity while reducing inflammation in the body. I buy camu camu powder online or at Whole Foods or different health markets. I usually add about 1/2 tsp.
I garnished my smoothie with pumpkin seeds for extra zinc, coconut flakes for healthy fats, raw cacao nibs for magnesium and extra goji berries to make it pretty:)
I’m having this smoothie while revising my notes for my pediatric exam. It’s such a great module; I love it!
This smoothie is vegan, gluten and soy-free, and free of added sugars. Enjoy!
