Turmeric is a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-bacterial spice. It’s not only use in cooking but for medicinal purposes as well. Turmeric is also good for the skin, nails and hair. It’s a very healing spice. You can get turmeric powder or get fresh turmeric root. I love to use both. Ginger is another medicinal spice. It aids digestion, support immunity, and reduce inflammation too. Cinnamon, a spice that is appreciated by most people, helps to balance blood sugar. Raw honey and bee pollen are two superfoods that provides energy, improve immunity and support digestion.
This turmeric smoothie is great to have during fall and winter time as it helps to strengthen your immune system, reduce inflammation, and protect you against colds and flu.
I hope you enjoy this delicious and healing turmeric smoothie.
