This nutritious smoothie is refreshing, tasty and packed with antioxidants. It’s a good one for summer.
I’ve used a pack of frozen guava, which I blended with frozen cherries, a ripe banana, a pink of pink salt and fresh almond milk.
Maca is a superfood. It’s a Peruvian root vegetable that is known to enhance energy and libido. It’s also good for skin and hair, and is rich in protein and fibre.
If you want to make it more nutritious, you can add a few almonds or a tablespoon of almond butter, coconut oil, or your favorite healthy protein powder.
For toppings, if you like, add chia seeds, coconut flakes and/or bee pollen.

Guava Cherry Maca Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 cup frozen cherries
- 1 pack frozen guava
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 tsp maca
- Pinch pink salt
Instructions
- Add almond milk in a blender along with the remaining ingredients, and blend until smooth.
- If you like, garnish with chia seeds and/or coconut flakes.
